Dave Paranteau
I was born and raised in the snowy (and often dismal) reaches of upstate New York, where I first discovered my passion for design. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology, I set my sights on warmer horizons, relocating to North Texas in 2003. Over the years, I honed my craft working with various agencies, serving as a production manager, and mastering the art of sign design at a specialty sign company.
My work has earned multiple awards for excellence in brochure, logo, and signage design, including a special commendation from the Commonwealth of Virginia (House Joint Resolution No. 914) for my 9/11 fundraising logo in 2003. After years in the agency world, I launched my own design business — though life threw me a curveball during the economic downturn, leading me to serve my community as a full-time firefighter and paramedic. Eventually, I returned to my creative roots to focus on what I love most: crafting compelling designs, illustrations, custom woodworks, and signage.
Today, I live in Star, Idaho, with my wife Janet and our son Cole, where I continue to create for clients near and far. I’m also a proud member of the Montana Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians (Great Falls, MT • Tribal ID 87LS-2393).
